Arvind Kejriwal Arrested From CBI

Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal is in three-day judicial custody of the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI). On Tuesday (June 25, 2024), the CBI interrogated him in Tihar Jail regarding a money laundering case related to the Delhi Excise Policy. Then the next day he appeared in the Rouse Avenue Court and Vacation Bench Judge Amitabh Rawat allowed the CBI three days of custody. Along with this, the court also gave some concessions to Arvind Kejriwal.

Arvind Kejriwal had asked for some concessions from the court regarding food and meeting with his wife. On this, Justice Amitabh Rawat gave him concessions on five things. These included home-cooked food, daily meetings with his wife Sunita Kejriwal, and a lawyer and provision of Shrimadbhagwad Gita.
